  • Mentoring

“Having worked closely with Brenda Lattimore for more than 18 months I can highly recommend her as a mentor in the field of early years education and care. I have consistently been impressed by her dedication, expertise, and genuine passion for nurturing young minds.

As a mentor, Brenda brings a wealth of knowledge, patience, and compassion to her role. She possesses a deep understanding of child development and use this insight to guide not only the children in their care but also the educators they support. Her ability to model best practices, provide thoughtful feedback, and encourage reflective practice has had a significant impact on the professional growth of many educators she supported.

What truly sets Brenda apart is their unwavering commitment to creating inclusive, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environments. Whether supporting curriculum planning, engaging environments, or offering one-on-one guidance, she does so with warmth, respect, and a collaborative spirit.

I have no doubt that Brenda will be an asset to any service fortunate enough to work with her.”

  • Workshop Early Years Educators

“ The STEM workshop conducted by Brenda was an outstanding professional development experience for our team. It was thoughtfully designed to be hands-on and interactive, allowing educators to fully engage with the materials and concepts in a meaningful way. The quality of the facilitation was exceptional and clearly inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach, which was specifically tailored to our early education context.

What stood out most was how Brenda sparked genuine curiosity and encouraged the educators to explore new ways of bringing STEM into their environments in a playful, accessible, and child-led manner. It not only deepened their understanding of STEM but also inspired fresh ideas for supporting inquiry-based learning.”

  • Mentoring

“I had the pleasure of working with Brenda in my new role of Manager with the service from May 2024, during this time Brenda demonstrated exceptional knowledge in early childhood development and education. She provided invaluable guidance to the educators, helping to implement play-based learning strategies that significantly enhanced children’s engagement and learning outcomes.

Brenda possesses exceptional interpersonal skills; she worked in collaboration with staff, parents and fostered a community centre on the wellbeing of children.

It was a wonderful learning experience working with Brenda over the past few months, and we hope to continue our working relationship with her, where we can reach out to her for advice and mentoring.

  • Junior Infants

“As a primary teacher, in my junior infants  I worked with Brenda in a  STEM capacity. As always, she brought her wonderful creativity, enthusiasm, joy and encouragement to my class. She arrived like Mary Poppins with her endless supplies. It was a truly exceptional experience from start to finish, opening my mind as much as the kids', to the endless opportunities for learning that so many simple materials/ ideas can bring. STEM is easily accessible no matter the age or budget, and Brenda is a leader in getting that message across to our early years educators and learners. I highly recommend you grab with both hands any opportunity you get to work with Brenda.”
